Black Dog

Our friends at the Black Dog Institute asked them to help out with a video message that was played at the state of origin game. The BDI is an amazing organisation that helps so many people tackle an often life threatening condition. SoDUS is really proud to be a supporter.

Fitness First app hits Number One!

Here at SoDUS we put down our free weights and towelled off to celebrate our Fitness First app moving to NUMBER ONE! on iTunes' app store in the Healthcare and Fitness category.
It's based on Fitness First magazine, which we also publish, but of course it has lots of engaging video and interactivity you can only get with an app.
We've been loving making it to we're thrilled people are loving reading it.

Sweet As ...

Walking through a shopping centre or flicking through a magazine, you might have seen some nice, fresh creative for the new sweetener, Equal Stevia.
Click on the animation below to see all the lovely flowers flower and beautiful butterflies fly. This was a dream job for SoDUS, making a little piece of art and effective creative for a client.
When we're in charge of everything, all works will be as sweet as this.

The Secret Chook Shop

We are currently developing a brand, from the ground up, for a new chain of chicken outlets. Judging by early designs and the client's commitment to totally brilliant coolness, this is project is going to be a lot of fun. It's not called The Secret Chook Shop, by the way, it's just a secret because we can't tell you.

Vivifi

SoDUS creative partner David Hutton and cameraman/editor Koji Takahashi Chan laboured together for literally weeks to source locations that filled with golden light at the moments after sunrise and before sunset. These brought to life a TVC for vividireless' new product, the cool 4G hotspot ViVIFI, that we at SoDUS are deeply proud of. We spent way to many hours on it, according to those who count beans, but the result is beautiful and we love it.
It worked, by the way. Sales a way beyond expectations.

Fitness First

SoDUS publishes Fitness First's magazine and now, like all good publishers, we've developed them an iPad app for the mag. It was fantastic to learn the skills necessary to make an app. The Fitness First product lends itself to video, with lots of painful how to's on sit-ups and bench presses, which creative partner David Hutton needs to take a good look at.

S2m

S2m
We re-branded successful digital recruiter S2M, giving them a look and feel that in the words of energetic managing director David Jackson is both "wicked and fresh". SoDUS hosted a fiery and passionate branding session with S2M and built a bold, refreshed new brand on the back of the brand essence we developed on the day. In our time together SoDUS and S2M have developed a great friendship, resulting in creative partner Phil Barker being bought a nice fish lunch by David Jackson at the CYC. Now that's wicked and fresh!

Gruen Nation

SoDUS took on Gruen Nation's The Pitch challenge to agencies to make a better political ad than we're seeing out there during the 2010 campaign. The brief we were given was fear and we were asked to use it against the Liberals.
That very quickly meant identifying the "real Tony Abbot" and using his own voice and images to "set the Mad Monk free".
To see the ad go to our work page on the site.

And here's a link to "Inside the Pitch" on the Gruen Nation's website for the behind the scenes action.

We had a lot of fun. Would we do it again? We've already begged ...

SoDUS in 3D

A nice, new font can actually have most of the studio gathered around someone's Mac "ooh-ing and aah-ing". Seriously.
And what do we do in our spare time? Make great stuff like this. Josh, from our film division, knocked this up in his spare time. For fun.

And we love it.
